Penang ESG Conference & Exhibition 2023

It was great to attend the 2-day Penang ESG Conference & Exhibition 2023 at Olive Tree Hotel, Penang. 

The conference that gathers over hundreds of key stakeholders; industrial players, social institutions and was officiated by the Penang Chief Minister, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow. In his opening remarks, the Chief Minister emphasized on the needs for local small medium enterprises (SMEs) to embrace the ESG principles in line with the Penang 2030 vision. By fully embracing ESG principles, we can position Penang as a hub in Malaysia that aligns with ESG standards, drawing in a varied array of investments to enhance the well-being of Penangites. 

I also wish to congratulate Penang Green Council and thank them for partnering with Penang Skills Development Centre PGC's well-sustained commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices has contributed to the city's resilience and sustainability.
